Well, some of you may have noticed that my contributions to this fine site have slumped somewhat of late.

I'm just not doing work with dA in mind anymore.

And the photos I had lined up to edit and submit... I doubt I'll be getting around to that anytime soon.

So yes.

I dunno. This place just seems so unnecessarily time consuming.

Also, on the bus trip today this thirtysomething business man began talking to me.

Told me about his daughter, the fact that it was her sixth birthday today, the fact that he and his wife haven't been together for five years, the importance of answering childrens' questions, the innovation of "liberal arts" students, his life in a family of 13, his belief in "positivity attracting positivity" (reaching across the VOID to strangers), his daughter's changing demeanor as she grows older and quite a bit more... he was an odd chappie.

It's so strange to think that we talked for 25 minutes straight, spouted out random shit about our lives and then just departed without even as much as finding out one another's names.

Oh well, made me smile.

Interaction without attachment, without the obligation to follow things up... the world needs more.

It's strange how quickly we sink back into ourselves.

Whatever gland it is that exudes the chemical that makes me feel nostalgic has just gone into hyperdrive. (Oh look, a long, complicated and badly-worded sentence!)

Everything I'm seeing and feeling is reminding me of something from my childhood. Also, lightheadedness o__O.


God, I just wanna curl up in a corner and wake up in 1995.
